a large amount of rubber abrasion had to be removed from the runway at frankfurt airport. however, the strength of the water jet had to be set exactly so that the rubber residues were removed without damaging the substrate. using a base jet 500, 2500 bar and a 1.75 m wide jetting tool, it was possible to adjust the pressure of the five nozzle bars precisely to the thickness of the layer to be removed. the strongest and therefore fastest hgv in the fleet therefore achieved a maximum output of 1,575 m² to 2,100 m² per hour.
