early in the morning, our 24 appretices set off from blaubeuren train station to the allgäu by bus. 

the day began with a hearty lunch at the inselsee beer garden before heading to sonthofen, where the real adventure awaited: rafting on the iller.

after a quick briefing and getting equipped with the necessary gear, our participants strolled to the river entry point. in groups of three, the apprentices boarded their rafts and got ready for their adventurous journey, a especially cold experience was the short swim break down in the iller: a refreshing and fun experience. 

after this eventful day in and on the water, everyone returned together to blaubeuren.
