a 6-axis fanuc robot has recently been installed in falch factory 3 at the lonsee site. this investment represents a significant step forward in the areas of efficiency and automation.

the robot now also takes over the automated loading of the cnc milling machine: it inserts the individual components fully automatically and removes them after machining. thanks to its double gripper hand, it can pick up two workpieces at the same time, which speeds up the production process considerably.

with a running time of up to 16 hours per day - i.e. two shifts - the robot works without interruption and increases production capacity by 175%. another advantage is the short changeover time of just 20 minutes. the robot can also easily handle components of different sizes and shapes up to a weight of 12.5 kg per gripper hand.

by controlling two different sized centric clamps, workpieces of variable sizes can be fixed simultaneously and processed with maximum precision.
