muehlhan / falch: promising collaboration in the remontowa shipyard in danzig!

the muehlhan ag, international specialist for industrial and maritime surface protection, is collaborating with falch as the supplier for very high-pressure waterjet systems. the reason was their task to remove all rust from a tanker, including the chemical tank, in the remontowa shipyard in danzig.
in order to meet this challenge, the falch top-rent team supplied the polish subsidiary of muehlhan at short notice with several mobile trail jets 100 as well as a container model cont jet 200 with 2,500 working pressure. the work on the 284 long ship has been carried out for serveral weeks, working around the clock.



falch's innovative technology rapidly removed the rust and several layers of paint. the biggest advantage was the low personnel costs and the short time span. that was why muehlhan chose falch for this project.
the muehlhan team was delighted because all the different tasks could be carried out perfectly, especially in areas difficult to access, by regulating the pressure from 2,000 to 2,500 bar.
