three falch R10/800 units were used up to 100 m underground for renovation. the sewerage ducts, which had been taken out of service, needed to be cleaned and renovated, to then be taken back into service.the sewerage duct was cleaned over a total length of 25 km.
this involved the removal of loose concrete and the cleaning of the entire duct surface, so that, subsequently, an insulating layer could be applied. the sewerage ducts have a diameter between 2 and 3.2 m - in a single day around 15 m could be cleaned per machine!
