id-s gmbh, with its company headquarters in unteressendorf, was commissioned by the liebherr factory ehingen gmbh to clean the paint booths for travelling cranes in the liebherr factory. the industrial service provider id-s is, amongst other things, specialised in cleaning and renovation using ultra high pressure water jet blasting equipment.
in the liebherr factory in ehingen the paint residue had to be removed from the gratings in the paint booths. this work was undertaken using the falch T25 in combination with the scater 25. in total, an area of 250 m² was blasted. the removal rate amounted to approx. 2 min/m². in parallel to this, the floor of the priming booth, having an area of approx. 2,000 m² was cleaned of paint residues using the T5H hot water blasting unit with rotor nozzle. the id-s employees were very happy with the result and with the reliability of the falch equipment and will, in the future, choose to use falch again.
