anybody who drives a diesel knows: it will run and run and run. this also applies to the 120 kW diesel engine which runs at 1,800 r.p.m. the fuel companion to the electric version of the base jet 100 has a working pressure of 2,500 bar and a blasting output of 20 litres of water per minute. the multifunctional control system allows the pressure to be controlled in steps of 100 bar. the quiet torque of the base jet 100 provides for low fuel consumption levels. a tank of fuel (220 litres) will last for two days. the slow-running 3-plunger pump by falch goes one step further in ensuring a long service life for the unit. the engine and pump are water-cooled.
this base jet product variant is recommended, amongst other things, for concrete cleaners, construction companies and corrosion protection companies. for the removal of paint and rust from large floor areas or for the removal of lane markings. in brief: for all applications with severe requirements. contract blasters and industrial cleaners who want to install their equipment in trucks are well served with this model. this is because the chassis dimensions are compact, in a similar way to the 1,200 bar electric-based version, which contributes greatly to making transport to the site and storage on site more easy.
a hood, fitted with hinged doors, prevents weather disturbance and also provides noise attenuation. two units can be combined together to accommodate work at higher flow rates. all 2009 product variants of the 100 series are compatible with each other.
in brief: with or without overpack: as with all diesels, this water pressure jet blaster has a damn long working life expectancy and is as accurate in operation as a swiss clockwork.
