the magazines computerwoche and cio yearly ascertain the top cios (chief information officer/it-manager) in germany. this year the it-manager daniel maute and his team convinced the jury by a general alignment of the it-strategy and diverse software-projects, among others a comprehensive release change of the erp-software and a relaunch of the falch-homepage.out of approx. 600 candidates daniel maute was elected in the top33 it-leaders in the sector of middle-sized companies. about his motivation and the frame conditions at falch he said: "i enjoy it to define processes and standards and to be able to make things happen. the best about my job is to be allowed to develop a team, to enthuse people for the many facets of the it and to make them be successful."daniel maute was born in 1979 and started at falch already in his dual-mode studies. at the cio of the year he was by far the youngest participant and he came from the by far smallest company (160 employees, four plus maute in the it-department).
