feijenoord won the contract to remove the rust from the historic iron bridge "melkbrug" in haarlem, the netherlands, to enable the damage to be analysed for the subsequent restoration work. additionally, the up to 3 cm thick layers of rust and 3 mm epoxy had to be removed from the bridge which was built in 1886. feijenoord required a comparison between falch ultrahigh water pressure technology and sandblasting - and then decided on the falch-process, since sandblasting would have taken four timemore...

at the beginning of march 2010 the orientation in the jungle of jobs started again (short boid). via this platform nearly 30 pupils from the region applied at falch this year. apart from a company visit they received specific information about their desired profession. additionally they had the possibility to exchange information with the apprentices about the conditions and advantages and disadvantages of single apprenticeships in order to get a realistic impression of the chosen profession. more...

all in all twelve apprentices were responsible for the successful presentation of falch at the education fair. they planned and realized the stand, worked out a smart lottery and informed with much enthusiasm pupils, teachers and parents about their apprenticeship at falch. the stand of the company falch was visited very frequently - during the three days of the fair many intensive consulting conversations were held and with the offer to experience the "world of water jetting" again directly inmore...
